In partnership with SmartSTEMs, Morrison’s Academy is running its second interactive STEM day for young people from across the region. Enjoy a series of ‘drop in’ workshops for 10-14 year olds as well as a STEM careers showcase, guest speakers and some fantastic prizes at the Crieff school campus. 

Here’s what you can expect on the day:

1000 Doors Open

1030-1100 Guest speaker with Q&A

1100-1355 Drop-in workshops and careers fair

1400-1430 Prize-giving and closing speaker

Headline workshops at this year’s event include Dynamic Earth, Glasgow Science Centre, The CODE Show and, YouTube sensation, ‘STEM with Mr N’. Before prize giving at the close of the event we will hear from former RAF fighter pilot, Colin McGregor, who will share the story of his exciting career. Thanks to the drop in style of the workshops, you can stay for an hour or for the whole day. 

Our library provides a relaxing seating area to enjoy your packed lunch with free refreshments. Food and drink will also be available to purchase from our onsite Coffee Lab. From soup and freshly made paninis and baguettes to a selection of fruits and delicious home-bakes  – there will be something to suit everyone.

Please plan ahead as there will be no parking available on the Morrison’s Academy campus during the event.
