In the past, as one might expect, the Tankard has been won on innumerable times by Nick Tremlett but this year Elliot on 50.8 pipped Nick by just one V, both of whom were coached by Simon Dixon.
It was a good job Elliot had arranged a lift home as the tankard is always presented filled with beer.
